The passenger seat is out. I decided to go with the doggie seat for now and Ein, my corgi, is just loving it!
I decided to tackle the front seats. I removed the passenger seat to make the pattern for the new covers , though I am not quite sure if I will be putting it back in or not. I had originally planned to put a mini frig there but now I am thinking a doggie bed instead as I will need room for them now I no longer have a built in pet sitter. They are quite lovely, eh? Hence the redo. I can tell they were re-done once already, many important fabric anchors are missing. and springs are missing too. I might not go stock seat on the driver side either. Time will tell.
I also gave her a new negative battery cable since the old one the Titan fully would not tighten down on the battery post. I'm also working on installing the battery cutoff switch
It rained a few days ago.... I was going to open the door and there was a damn Yellow Sac Spider sitting there, (I found three in fact) soooo I knew it was time for another preemptive strike and spray and fume again.
Cinder came over today, just as I was beginning to rip the carport awning in half down the center and install a new cover. Thanks to his help, it got done in record time; heck I would probably still be fighting it LOL. anyways, now it is set up as a proper fumigation station with sidewalls to hold that mist in. I shall kill all those damn spiders if it is the last thing I do. LOL
And (addressing a comment I received) No, she is not too "cluttered," she is just perfect and useful. If she were just for show, then yes, but then no because she is a gypsy wagon and meant to look like one, especially in a show, but of course she would be straightened up properly to look like for a show and not a camping trip ;) Where I live, there are lots of spiders in the trees and bushes so it is a never ending battle even if she was bare bones inside, especially with the black and brown widows. In fact, I joke Hilter had a widow egg sac hidden on every VW they came over to America... LOL
The Blue Hag
Just a crazy older gal, making ready for when my nest is empty and I can go see the world, camping and rest-stopping on the way to be able to live simply and afford ably..
