Went to the store yesterday morning and loaded the groceries in the back, though the side door as usual. Go to close it, I wouldn't close. .....Um, DAMN! That rear slider hinge had been acting up but I could always close it. Not this time as instead the rear hinge slider section came off the track and fell out from under the cover. So there I am in the stores parking lot for a good hour, trying to figure out how to fix it. No one offered to help; they all just walked by with blinders on. Luckily, I discovered then that the U shaped swivel part was broken too, inside the hinge, so I could pull it out. I wiggled door so it was snug and no hanging, stressing the lower front roller, got my ice chest and stove box, the perfect height to hold door where I needed it to be. So then I managed to get the slider part back under the cover, on the track, lifted door enough to put the U back in, closed it one click and carefully drove home, But ya know, if I saw a fat old lady in a disabled parking spot (or not, re spot) having obvious car issues, I sure as fuck woulda stopped to help her! Stupid Rude Hemetites! (not be judgmental, just speaking the truth! LOL)
